So can you tell us something about Horus?
At first the name of the project was Bloodtide. We singed back then in 2011 as technical death metal. Later we decided later to restart the project but under the name of Horus. We had a lot of line-up changes and unfortunately we became a two-man band, because it's very hard to find people that can feel the music like us, and have the same ideas and principles.

"Horus" what does the name mean?
Horus is an Egyptian god, representing good, the son of Osiris and Isis. We've chosen this name because we wanted something simple that relates very much with our oriental influences in our music especially Egyptian. He is also one of our favorite character from this mythology.

Can we know about your recent lineup and duty on Horus?
Well, the former members and Current members are Beserman Edi as Lead Vocals, Keyboards, Guitar, Bass, Drum programming, Mastersound, Songwriter and Cristache Andrei as Backing Vocals, Drum programming, Guitar, Composer.Other members we're Mihai Vlad - Guitar, Catalin Mihai - Mastersound, Guitar, Laurentiu Szain - Guitar. We also tried with some people who we're playing on bass and keyboards but it was useless.

So we can say Horus as a two man technical death metal project?
Technical, melodic, atmospheric and oriental death metal, simple death metal!!Horus represents Beserman Edi and Cristache Andrei.

So can you tell us about the ROMANIAN metal scene?
To be honest, we don't care so much about the Romanian metal scene, because we have a lot of shity bands that pretend to be metal, and confuse the image with the music. But, there are some bands that really make some great music, and are very good. Bands like Taine, Avatar, Indian Fall, Negura Bunget, Malpraxis, Decease and others. Some of them being first who played in our country the specific genre. Unfortunately, some of them are more appreciated outside our country than inside. Krepuskul also on the band list, forgot them, great band as well!!

Yeah for sure Kreposkul is a good band. So we wanna know how many gigs have you guys played so far?
Unfortunately because of the line-up we haven't played live . That was another reason we became a two-man band. If we will find some members maybe we will do some concerts. Until then, we're only making  music.

So until now how many track have been launched?
A lot of them.He have material for almost 2 or 3 albums and also unfinished ideas. We started first with a demo with 3 songs, and after that we started working on our first album, Declaration of War.We also work on other projects as well, one of them more older than this one, Decomposed Flesh, an old school brutal death metal, and with Bessermann Edy, a solo project.

So exactly how many albums?
Albums, only one for now, Declaration of War, but we have to record the voice on 2 songs to be full-length.We also have material for an EP, that will be released after finishing the album.

We convey you best wishes from entire SNRMB team. As we are learning  and being influenced by many bands which band have influenced Horus?
Best wishes as well! And for the bands that influenced us; we tried not to be influenced by other bands, but 3 bands did marked us a bit.Their names are Nile, Aeternam and Septicflesh.

Any message to the fans and fellow band mates to be featured in RAKTAPYAS?
For the fans: thank you all who supported us, we love you all!!And for the bands in the compilation, we wish you the best, and stay metal!!

Lastly, a space for you anything we SNRMB have forgotten to ask you can tell us here?
You didn't forgotten anything!Nice interview, it was a pleasure.Thank you!!And also we want to thank our brother from Nepal, Bibek Bhattrai .Thank you brother!!!
