Near Death Condition Death Metal Act from Switzerland

I guess I should not talk much about this band. Nepal you have already experienced this death Chaos!!!
To know much about NEAR DEATH CONDITION you can follow them in their Facebook page and know much more about them..
https://www.facebook.com/officialneardeathcondition

Before we begin we will like to ask you guys regarding your NEPAL tour in 2012 at SILENCE FESTIVAL. How was your experience back then?

It was an awesome experience. We've played in front of an amazing crowd and met lots of fans, very cool people. It was a real honor to be part of the third edition of the Silence Festival!!

From 2010 i have been following NEAR DEATH CONDITION and during the festival and personally i am die hard fan of you guys and was in the festival just to witness you guys. It’s an honor that i am able to talk with you guys. 2001 until now how has this 13years of journey been?

Thanks a lot for having been such a loyal fan all that time! During these 13 years there have been ups and downs, but since the release of our previous record “the disembodied - in spiritual spheres" and the line up stabilization we are very excited by what's happening to the band. Worldwide distribution of our records, shows, Silence Festival which was one of our most amazing experiences until now!

The avatar, Prayer to the universal one , trinity, expecting putrefaction , in the name of the destructive god storm are some of my favorite tracks from NDC. These are some of the track i listen almost everyday. Especially Guido's blast drumming and gravity blast/roll it takes Near Death Condition's music to that extreme edge.

Glad to read that some of our songs are blasting almost every day in your home

As far as i know you guys are under UNIQUE LEADERS ALBUM and have signed 3 album contract with them and recently a week back ago i.e. 24th march you guys launched your 2nd album ''EVOLVING TOWARDS EXTENTION'' recorded in non other than the renowned Hertz studio Poland how is the respond so far. I am unable to grab them as it’s not available here. Was going through one album review it was 8/10. I am eager to grab a copy as well as grab the previous album as well as i lost the CD. And if i am correct Wieslawscy Brothers did the production.

Yeah that's right, we've signed for 3 albums with Unique Leader Records and "Evolving Towards Extinction" is our second album released by Unique Leader. Actually we've done 3 albums: "Delusional Perception of Reality" in 2005 that we've released ourselves, "the disembodied in spiritual spheres" in 2011 and now "evolving towards extinction" both released by Unique Leader. For the recording process of our new record, actually we've recorded all tracks in Switzerland in our home studio and we've sent the tracks to the Hertz Studio in Poland for the mix. And Wieslawsky brothers did the job. Then we've sent the mixed tracks to the Iguana Studio in Germany for the mastering, which is also an important part of the sound of the new album. For your lost cds, maybe Guido could bring them to you next time he goes to Nepal...

That will be an honor. Wieslawsky Bros, they are known for their work with giants like Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated and many more elite bands. Guys we will like to know about the scene back there in SWITZERLAND?

About the feedback for the new album, it's really encouraging and exiting to see how positive it is so far. We received a way lot of positive review from different countries throughout the world. Have to say that there is a pretty active rock/metal scene in Switzerland, but not really focused on brutal death-metal. Yes Hertz Studio is famous for having worked with some of the elite bands in extreme metal scene. This is why we decided to work with them for "disembodied" first, and now for the new record

Talking about the scene about Switzerland, a few month's back i had talk with guys from Derrick and they told me about (Pro - helvetia) what actually is it?

Pro helvetia is a foundation that promotes Swiss culture and artistic creation within Switzerland...basically

As far as i googled it told that bands are funded by the country to represent their country in the European region as a means of Swiss culture promotion?

Yeah!!! For sure. NDC currently don't profit from their help

So apart from NDC what do you guys do?

PAT :Teacher in secondary school

Simone : I'm sorry ! I’m not always connected. I work as mechanic -electrician

Stephane : Hi ! I m a computer scientist

Step Seriously

I don't know if there is a confusion. I manage data servers and networks for companies.

So guys we will like to know that recently (a few months back) had a tour how was it. Along with it we will like to know the recent updates of you tours?

The last time we played live before the release of our new records was in2012. It was cool, we’ done some date in Switzerland and in Nepal as well. We were supposed to play at 3 venues in Nepal, but we finally played twice: at the Silence fest and the following day at the house of music with some great Nepalese bands. We've started our promotional gigs for "evolving towards extinction" in March in Switzerland with Mercyless (French old school cult band) and we are getting ready for our next shows, one in France with Sinister, another with Nader Sadek in Switzerland and we have pending plans for other cool gigs and are waiting for confirmation to play at some festival

Well excited to know about the dates. So Pat tell us how your journeys in this genre begin. I mean who was your influence?

Our influences are the old-school death-metal scene of the 80's and early 90's, because some of us have grown up with records that came out at that time such as albums of Death, Obituary, Morbid Angel, Deicide

So we are almost at the end . Any message to the fans who will be going through our talk?

Thanks for your support, check out our new record and we hope to see you soon ! I'd like to add that our new record is brutal, kind of modern and rather technical, but it has tons of feelings and atmospheres and sincerity!

I don’t want to end but what is started must come to an end. Lastly a space for NDC to ask us if we SNRMB crew have forgotten to ask. You can ask us here?

Yes unfortunately! I think you have highlighted what seems important! Many thanks to SNRMB crew for time and support !

Thank you Pat Stephane Guido and Simon for your time

You're welcome, it was a pleasure

Thunderwar Death Metal Band from Poland

Thunderwar a Polish Death Metal band. A few weeks back we had a talk with them and today they are sharing stage with Amon Amarth . If i am asked about some upcoming giants from Poland they are one of them who for sure are gonna rip your brains off.So soon they are hitting the studio for there full-length album They may be playing there slot when you are going through this interview  . To know much about them check them out in their Facebook page..
https://www.facebook.com/thunderwarofficial
you can even check them out in their YouTube channel
https://www.facebook.com/thunderwarofficial/app_212104595551052

Before we begin we will like to know much about the scene there in Poland. As we all know that the scene of Poland is well renowned for its extreme scene. Talking about that we will also like to notify you guys that the Death Metal scene in Nepal is Maximum influenced by Polish Death Metal scene. So can you say about your countries scene in elaborated as well as brief way?

Yes, you’re right; Poland is renowned for its extreme scene. I think it’s due to our everyday, grey reality. You know, compared to other European countries, particularly from Western Europe, life in Poland isn’t colorful. State is often making life difficult instead of helping; most young people flee abroad as here after graduation the only career that awaits them is to be a cashier in the supermarket. People are pissed off and they transfer this frustration onto the most pissed-off music in the world - death metal ;). Plus, as you probably have heard, Poland is a country where Catholicism is firmly rooted. The more society imposes certain beliefs on young people, the more they need to revolt. In addition to the death metal scene we also have got quite interesting black metal scene. The Polish representatives of this genre that I would recommend are: Furia (Fury), Mgła (Fog), Kriegsmachine (War Machine) or Plaga (Plague). As you can see . . . Poland does not have too many representatives in heavy and thrash trend. Extreme scene reflects the best the mood of our society.

Thunderwar how did the journey begin?
The idea of founding death metal band was born in the minds of our drummer Vit and bass player/ singer Madness, when they were still kids. In 2012 the band was joined by Ustapiuk (solo guitar), and a little later myself, on rhythm guitar. For a year, under the name of Perun we were getting used to each other and determining the path we wanted to follow. We recorded, as Perun, single "Eagle of Glory". The song met with great reception in the country and abroad, which resulted in us starting hatching a bit more serious plans. We’ve come to the conclusion that we would have to change the name to something that people abroad would be able to pronounce (laughs). So with the beginning of 2013 the Thunderwar was born, with a new plan for the future, new strength to action and from that point on, seriously we’re dating the emergence of the band.

Thunderwar what exactly does it means?
We were looking for an English name, which at least a little would refer to Perun. Perun is a Slavic ancient God of Thunder. Therefore, we wanted to have the word "thunder" in the name, but it was hard to come up with such a combination of words, that have never been used somewhere else. It turned out that there was never any Thunderwar, and this name pierced our heads and we decided it should stay.

Can we know about the lineup of Thunderwar?

Sure! The founders, Vit and Madness have known each other almost since childhood, when, as teenagers (13, 15 year-olds) they played in the thrash formation Horde. Vit from an early age took drums lessons. He had the opportunity to even be taught by one of our national drums’ masters Daray, who currently plays drums in Dimmu Borgir. Madness is self-taught. He found his first bass on the scrap yard and so it started (laughs). Ustapiuk and I met probably in 2007 at the concert of Overkill. You can say that together we were taking first steps in learning to play the guitar. We are also self-taught, but Ustapiuk is much better. True talent :)

Coming from the land of legendary act BEHEMOTH , Vader , Decapitated , Azarath , Hate and many more great bands can you guys say us what inspired you four to start a Death Metal band?
The years 2012-2013 was a time when each of us had enough of "the new wave of thrash" which began doing so secondary and dull that slowly became musical regress. Of course, we ourselves grew up on thrash and we love this music very much, but we've had enough of all these new, identical, boring bands. We thought: “Fuck, it's time to show that teenagers can enjoy awesome, fresh death metal! In the end we’re from Poland, the cradle of death metal?! " (laughs). By the way, of course, we are in love with the Swedish, American and Polish classics of death metal. It turned out that we’ve got our own idea and we just continue doing it today.

Can you guys say us how did you guys journey in Metal started?

I started out ‘cause of my friends from the primary school and the cassette "Master of Puppets" and "Painkiller" obvious bands:) Vit and Ustapiuk began to listen to heavier sounds because of their parents, who themselves liked bands such as Kiss and Iron Maiden. Madness I guess was inspired by an older brother, but I have no certainty:) And once we've grown to be able to start going to concerts, drink beer and partying, it all started getting serious! Of course, at the same time a fascination with instruments started and you know . . . :)

Apart from Thunderwar which other bands are you guys involved?

Only Vit is in one other band - Bestiality. They are our mates from the rehearsal room and play simple, boorish black/thrash metal like Nifelheim or Disaster, etc. They still haven’t got any material issued but something is already gearing up. On YT you can listen to their first recordings. I recommend:)

Recently you guys had a gig on Warsaw in 29th march how was the gig?

Correct. We played in our hometown, so there were quite a few friends and a very cool atmosphere. We shared the stage with two fellow bands from Warsaw: Morthus and Armagh and a star of the Polish black/thrash underground Bloodthirst. We presented one new song that will appear on the full album and it has been received with great enthusiasm, and that’s why we remember this gig very well:)

If I am not wrong then in mid June you guys are sharing stage with the legendary American Death Metal Band OBITUARY. Can you say us in detail about the gig . I am pretty much sure you guys are pretty excited about the gig sharing a stage with one of the most influential Death Metal Band..

Yeah! We are extremely excited about this event! Obituary is one of our idols, so it's cool to be able to share the stage with them. From what I know, it’s supposed to be a one-day mini-Festival. There will be a lot of Polish bands from the underground, including 3 reactivated especially for this concert: Betrayer, Wishmasteran and Dishead. I hope to manage to have a chat with the guys from Obituary, but we'll see on the spot:) By the way-back in April we will be supporting Amon Amarth, so you need to know that we’re not idle! (laughs)

So in 2013 November you guys launched your Ep “The Birth of Thunder” it was probably on 8th if I am correct. Around 18.50 minutes of brain crushing Death metal chaos. Personally speaking out of the 4 tracks SHADOWS OF LINDISFARNE and  EAGLES OF GLORY are on top of my list.

Yes, it officially came out at the beginning of November. Thanks for these words, great to hear it! :) I personally most prefer "Vimana (The Chariots in Heaven)", but my opinion might not be objective:) (laughs) “Shadows” and “Eagle” is perhaps the most "classic" songs in our repertoire, I'm glad that you enjoyed them;)

Coming outside THUNDERWAR what are the albums that you guys personally prefer. (Any genres please entire members answer it)?

Vit doesn’t see the world besides metal, mainly death scene, black/thrash. Too much of this, to name it in turn (laughs). Personally, I think if he ever listens to something outside the genre then probably the hell freezes over :D Favourite band of Madness, as he claims, is a Lynyrd Skynyrd :) Also Unleashed, Manowar, Behemoth. In turn me and Ustapiuk we’re recently absorbing a lot of new bits from the world of metal - Bombus, Ghost BC, In Solitude. We’re inspired quite a lot with Watain, Behemoth, Satyricon. And with more atmospheric music with the devil in the background - Blue Oyster Cult or The Devils Blood.

Your EP was released from HERTZ STUDIO and was mixed and mastered by non other then Wieslawscy Bros how was your experience working with one of the well renowned Sound engineer in the Death Metal scene who have worked with polish giants VADER , Behemoth as well as DECAPITATED?

Wiesławscy brothers are the best professionals that so far we have been able to work with. Their experience and work style makes you feel as if they read your mind. They always give the right advice, everything argue perfectly, and their ideas are simply very good:) We had no doubt that we want them to record our full album. Even if for half a year we'd have to eat only bread and drink water to collect money for recordings:)

So while I was going through one of the article about you guys and have mentioned about entering Studio for a full length album probably by the mid of 2014. Can you say us about the album. We will love to know about it?

Yes, that’s decided, we will enter the Studio in August of this year (2014). Now we’re finishing writing material, and in May we begin to record pre-production of the album. Later we will be discussing with the brothers our vision, based on the recorded pre-production material, choosing instruments and establishing ground rules of collaboration. The album has to sound naturally, has to be recorded without the use of triggers, with a "live" drums. Material is to be consistent and natural. All of the songs which we were not 100% certain of were thrown out of the window. All of this is to avoid “chokers” on the album. Slowly our excitement associated with this production grows, but for now however there is still a lot of work ahead.

So 16 months of journey until now. How far has been the journey? Well its good to see that the upcoming bands are getting opportunities and to add flavor you guys upcoming gig with such legends honestly I am speechless..

Thanks!!! These 16 months have passed very quickly. But that’s how it just is when you’re constantly busy :) So far we’re very pleased with the direction in which the band follows and we will certainly want to continue! We’re not letting go and all the time we have the appetite for more, and this is just the beginning:)

So apart from thunderwar what do you guys do?

Vit and Madness are still in high school,  I and Ustapiuk are studying. Most of us also work part time to earn money for the recordings and for rehearsal room hire. Unfortunately, as I mentioned, in our country the State doesn't help musicians with their own idea, as for example in Sweden. I hope that in the near future we will manage to escape from this humdrum reality in a long tour :)

Any message to the fans ?

Sure! Spread death metal plague wherever you can! Let the people hear there are still young bands that want to follow the path designated by our shared idols from the 80s and 90s! Someone's going to have to play for our children, when all the "dinosaurs of rock" will be gone to Valhalla, is not it? :) Meanwhile, I like to say goodbye and I need to shoot to a concert Watain! They’re playing today in Warsaw :) See you in the future!

Lastly a space for you to ask if we SNRMB team has forgotten to ask you can ask us here?

Imperial Cult Blackened death metal act from Darjeeling...

A few weeks back we had a small talk with guys from Imperial Cult. They are a blackened death metal act from Darjeeling. To know much about them you can check them out at

Before we began say us something about Imperial Cult?
Hmm, we are a Blackened Death Metal band formed in Kolkata, West Bengal, but all our members are actually natives of Darjeeling. We formed Imperial Cult in Kolkata because all our members were present in Kolkata for academic purposes. We as a band love playing metal, we believe we can best express ourselves in this form of music. As stated earlier, we play blackened death metal, our influences include behemoth, naglfar, belphegor, rotting christ, and others and by the way, we have our debut ep coming...we plan to release it around June July.

29th Feb. 2012 until now how has been this journey of 2 years?
Well, we've had our share of highs and lows, but you know, whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, so we've managed to keep our cool and move on. We've had a couple of line-up changes, at first we couldn't find a suitable drummer, we had to try couple of drummers, before we welcomed Triratna, we also had to part ways with our original bassist, but fortunately Khawas handled the bass duties just fine. Finally we have a stable line-up now. We’ve been writing songs for our debut, and a couple of weeks back we released our first official single...hopefully this will continue.

Imperial cult what does it means?
Imperial cult means a kingdom/region where a supreme being is the sole existing power and authority, he is the alpha and the omega, and all the others are dominated or ruled by him, and these 'others' worship this being as a god

So as per you guys saying your debut Ep will be launched in this years mid can you say more about it?
Well, its a four song ep, it also includes our single "the rise of yalambar” which is based on how Lord Krishna backstabbed the mightiest Kirat king Yalambar. It tells about the tyranny of Krishna. The other three songs are on the final stages of the recording process, they are black stone which is about a devil king, the other two are the abomination and pain of mortals (their titles say it all). The ep will be released sometime around June July. Hopefully, it will be received well by the masses

Well we wish you good luck for that. By the way can we know about the lineup?
Thank you, imperial cult are:
vocals - ashish shyangbo,
lead/rhythm guitars - siddharth lama,
lead/rhythm guitars - kushal rai,
bass - rishav khawas,
drums -triratna moktan

So you guys played here in Nepal last year in Slaughtered house death fest in hetauda how was your experience?
The experience was awesome; we had gone there with two other awesome bands from Darjeeling, namely malevolent bloodshed and obliterating vortex. We were received by members of extreme underground hetauda and vishal dai(wakk thuu) and our stay was vary pleasant. Meeting other death metal and grindcore bands was awesome, we really liked the brotherhood and camaraderie of the bands there, and it was inspiring. the show went well, except for some minor technical glitches on our part it was inspiring to watch bands like dying out flame, undefined human, Bidroha (they had headlined the show) and others...so, yeah...it was an amazing experience

As far as i know all members are involved in other bands as well especially i want to ask Triratna you serve drums duty on GRUNGY MORPHINS as well how far are you guys able to manage time with other bands and i want to ask you all how are you all going without affecting your academics as well ?
Yes, i also handle drum duties for grungy morphins as well, grungy morphins are currently not active as our other members are engaged in their own obligations, so as of now, and I am able to focus solely on imperial cult. As for time management, we don't really plan out our time schedules, we just go with the flow, if you know what i mean, haha. Well, speaking about academics, being in a band, we can't say it doesn't affect our academics, because it does. Attending practice sessions or even getting together with other band members who live 4 hours away means we have to skip a few classes here and there which may cause some attendance issues in college, but its totally worth it since we're doing/pursuing what we love. After all what is a man with out his dreams or hopes right?

Exactly no pain no gain. By the going beyond the band what are the albums you guys are going through nowadays (any genres)?
Behemoth's the satanist,
deathspell omega's drought,
autopsy's the headless ritual,
obliteration's black death horizon and so on,
and locally, dying out flame's 'shiva rudrastakam" was absolutely amazing, havn't gotten around to getting hold of bidroha's "suffer till death", unfortunately, but hope to very soon, looking forward to narsamhaar"s "genocide euphoria

Yeah i am waiting for Narsamhaar as well. By the way you guys are Blackened death band can you say something about this genre?
Well, as the name suggests, blackened death metal incorporates elements of both death metal and black metal, bands that play this form of music include the likes of behemoth, akercocke, belphegor, etc.

Yeah it can be easily seen in the lyrical pattern as well. By the way any project in the pipeline?
Not that we can think of, no. at least not until June, or before the release of our ep. Some of our members also have exams until June so, we'll be playing gigs only from June

I am waiting for the ep to be release and grab it. So guys any message to the fans?
To our supporters, we'd like to thank them for being there for us and supporting us, look out for our ep, and keep supporting the local metal scene

Lastly a space for you to ask if we SNRMB crew forgot to ask?
I don't think there's anything left haha. You’ve asked and we've answered "D

Burning Democracy Thrash Metal Band from Bangladesh

SNRMB interview: Burning Democracy (Bangladesh)

Burning Democracy is an aspiring Thrash Metal act from Dhaka, Bangladesh. They are one of the upcoming thrash guns from Bangladesh. They are the runners up of King of The Ring Season 3..They are getting a big break in the gig East Bengal Onslaught put up by Bangladesh Metal Alliance..We will like to convey them best wishes for there future..
Check out more about the band here:
Here’s a little interview we had with Burning Democracy

So tell us something about your band?
Burning Democracy is a thrash metal band hailing from Dhaka, Bangladesh, formed in mid 2012, the first year was more of finding out the strengths and chemistry and the perfect line-up for the band, and the emergence started with a local band competition called King of The Ring (KOR).

How did the band form and can you tell us about the line up?
The band was formed when Nephilim and Warhammer met each other through social networking and then Sazid and Tonmoy Joined in the pit. We had a bit of struggle finding a dedicated lead guitarist. Finally we found Nibir who was a friend of Tonmoy.
And the current line-up goes-
Nephilim- Rhythm Guitars
Nibir- Lead Guitars
Sazid- Bass Guitars
Tonmoy- Vocals
Warhammer- Drums

Which bands influence your music?
We, as a band, are more influenced by Teutonic Thrash Metal bands Sodom, Kreator and Destruction. But Individually each member has his own influences which makes our sound our identity.

How many shows have you done so far?
We haven't done too many shows, have been concentrating more on composing original tracks and planning about releases. Prior to KOR, we did only one show, and after KOR we did 3 more local gigs.

So, any project in the pipeline?
Yeah, we're working on our fourth original track and polishing up our third one, planning to hit the studios soon after the East Bengal Onslaught and release a demo or an extended playlist.

How is the scene over there? What are the good bands and good gigs?
The scene over here is pretty big as u can see a lot of organizers arranging lot of gigs, too many bands trying to rise and working hard, puts up a pretty competitive scene in Bangladesh. Although I'd say metal still has a long way to go in Bangladesh.
For good bands, the list is pretty big actually. Senior bands like Powersurge, Orator, Severe Dementia are the few most influential bands of Bangladesh. There is Mirrorblaze, Gene-split, Poizon Green. Then there are our brothers Dissector, Thrash, Homicide, Enmachined, Abominable Carnivore, Jahilliyah, who are extremely good at what they do.

As we all know scene is also evolving there like that of Nepal. what kind of obstacles you guys have to face there to put up a metal band which the society considers pain in the ears?
What society?? Revolution has its price, or else, it is not a revolution. Why the heck should we even give a damn about the society that fails to appriciate the truth that we speak through our songs? A society that fails to recognize the truth that they've always tried to hide beneath the mask of so called "civilization", the best that these people can do is think negatively about us, talk behind our back, and yeah at best "Bomb/ Decapitate" us, but that that can never stop revolution.

You guys are aware of Nepali scene as well? Tell us one band from here as well as Bangladesh who are sure to rise in the future?
From Nepal, I'd like to summon Bidroha. Damn! They are good!!! Suffer Till Death all the way. From Bangladesh, well, the possibilities are way too much for everyone, i'd rather put all of'em on the same stage.

Is there any good/funny memory during or after the show that you would like to share with our readers?
Yeah... Well, me and our bassist Sazid wear glasses, and in each and every show, after the performance is finished, we've to look for our glasses on the ground, if u know what i mean.

How excited are you guys for East Bengal Onslaught? What do you have to say about the folks from Bangladesh Metal Alliance? How are they promoting your band?
East Bengal Onslaught is The big break for us. Performing on the same stage with the mighty Orator and Powersurge, and the other bands, we've been on adrenaline since we got selected for the gig. BMA folks are the torchbearers of the metal scene in Bangladesh. They are doing everything possible to make the scene better.
You dream Metal fest line up and and 5 all time favourite albums and 5 favourite albums from Bangladesh?
Now this is a really hard question.
Dream Line-up
Death
Kreator
Sodom
Destruction
Exodus
Overkill
Weapon
All time favourite albums
Enemy of God- Kreator
Tempo of The Damned- Exodus
The Antichrist- Destruction
Embers and Revelations- Weapon
Arise- Sepultura
Favourite Albums from Bangladesh
Rokte Veja Mati- Rockstrata
Poizon Green- Poizon Green
Barzak- Opocheshta
Orator- Dominion of Avyaktam
Chromatic Massacre/ Ostitto [Split]- Genocide 71

So we are almost at the end of our interview. Any message to the supporters as well as the fellow bands?
Keep it real, practice what you preach, u don't have to kill posers for metal, just don’t be a poser. Support local acts and thrash till death.

Psychotron Thrash metal act from Bangladesh

SNRMB: Psychotron(Bangladesh)

Psychotron is a Thrash Metal band from Sylhet, Bangladesh formed in mid 2011. Recently after signing with East Bengal Onslaught for their event ,we went through some of their live videos as well as there tracks and trust me people these are the young guns from Bangladesh who are sure to thrash em all. They are about to perform at East Bengal Onslaught in Dhaka along with Orator, Homicide,Enmachined .

We had a little chat with their vocalist Abeer. Let's have a look at it…

So tell us something about your band?
Hello there. Psychotron is a 6 piece old school/raw thrash metal band from the holy soil of Sylhet.

How did the band form and can you tell us about the line up?
Psychotron was formed by tearing apart the filthy womb of Prisonerz. Our band has Emon on drums, Arnob on bass and Muttaki, Dhrupo and our mighty riffer Rahat on guitars. Mainly Muttaki and Dhrpo both manage the solos duty. Our band is the result of years of practise and dedication for this genre.

Which bands influence your music?
We are hugely influenced by bands like Sepultura, Slayer, Pantera and other thrash pioneers, nothing but only true thrash metal.

How many shows have you done so far?
We've done around 11 shows till now with Rockstorm vol 4 and Metal Fest 2 being the most memorable. And yes Rebellion of Metal was an ass-kicking gig too.

Any project in the pipeline?
Psychotron will be releasing the debut EP this year hopefully and a few gigs. That's all in the pipeline for the metalheads this year.

How is the scene over there? What are the good bands and good gigs?
Psychotron had to struggle since the time of its birth. As we don't live in the capital city there are always many drawbacks here. Still with bands like Metropolis, Syl X, Mask, Nordic Shadows, Sapnic, H2so4, Art Of Ruin, Metacornt and gigs like metal fest abd rock storm; the scene here is good to be proud of. And its metal, metal is here to stay.

As we all know scene is also evolving there like that of Nepal. what kind of obstacles you guys have to face there to put up a metal band which the society considers pain in the ears?
Well the metal scene is ever evolving and the scene won't be the same as it is in Sylhet now. We had to listen to people talking shit about our genre and not liking whatever we did and we really don't blame them. It was the scene at that time in Sylhet. But the only thing that matters is the devotion towards this genre and hours of practice. The metal scene here has to grow and I know it will.

You guys are aware of Nepali scene as well? Tell us one band from here as well as Bangladesh  who are sure to rise in the future?
Bidroha and Dying Out Flame, these are the two most ass kicking bands from Nepal. I mean I would literally bleed my brains dry listening to them. And to me, great bands come up only because of a good scene. And from our national scene there are lots of favorite band like Thrash, Homicide, Mirrorblaze, Dissector, Enmachined, Sacrilege.

Is there any good/funny memory during or after the show that you would like to share with our readers?
Performing as a guest vocals with Hell Raizers on Rebellion of Metal was surely a great memory. And yes all the fun the both bands had in the hangouts

How excited are you guys for East Bengal Onslaught? What do you have to say about the folks from Bangladesh Metal Alliance? How are they promoting your band?
We are really very excited for East Bangal Onslaught. It's our first show in Dhaka and sharing the stage with such extreme metal bands of Bangladesh is surely a great acheivement for us. Bangladesh Metal Alliance was very supportive and yes they're promoting us pretty well. Nabil bhai(manager of Sacrilege and Homicide), Mim bhai(Banxai Chaosmaster, the monster from Homicide) and Anzan bhai(Drummer of Dissector) gave the support to us. We want to give very special thanks to them.

You dream Metal fest line up and and 5 all time favourite albums and 5 favourite albums from Bangladesh?
Orator, Severe Dementia, Powersurge, Homicide, Thrash - yes thats enough for me to break some bones in the mosh pit. Albums like And Justice For All (Metallica), Rust In Peace (Megadeth), Cowboys from Hell (Pantera), Hell Awaits (Slayer) and Arise (Sepultura) has an everlasting spot on our hearts. And yes the Bangladesh albums like Auprostut Juddho (Powersurge), Kapalgnosis (Orator), Rockstrata (Rockstrata), Shottagroho (Gene Split) and yes Triumph of The Villain (Mirrorblaze) are our favourites.

So we are almost at the end of our interview. Any message to the supporters as well as the fellow bands?
We just want everyone to listen to real music and support the bands. It's not our occupation, it's our passion and would like everyone to listen to our stuff legally. Yes and please support your local scene, you might get the next big thing emerging from you neighbourhood, you never know. Life is all about struggling and making your own way and as for metal, as I said earlier, it's going to grow. Ave!
