is a heavy metal band in Buenos Aires, Argentina we made some tours around
south America, in countries like Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Uruguay
Insignia what does the name mean?
We took
the name because we believe in some symbols in heavy metal, like the horns that
made dio in his shows that’s the significant of insignia for us
When was the Band formed?
insignia
was formed 5 years ago, in a heavy metal bar we were drinking a beer and we
were talking about heavy metal bands and we decide make one

their in Argentina
Here in
the Argentinean underground scene there are a lot of professional bands, here
in Argentina and in the rest
of South America heavy metal is something big.
So which genre has maximum influence
in Argentinean scene?
I think
traditional metal and thrash metal is here in his best moment
So can you tell us which bands music
Influence Insignia?
Yes of
course... we like, Motörhead, black Sabbath, and Saxon, accept, megadeth and
metallica, i think these bands are our influences
So we can consider Insignia as a
Heavy/Thrash metal band?
Yes, more
heavy metal than thrash, but we have some thrash influences
So you guys had launched an E.P with
Nepali Thrash Metal Band Bidroha. How you guys did come in term with each other
and how did you guys came to the decision for a split?
I think
that metal is now a global music, and we like know heavy metal bands around the
world, we spoke with Bidroha and they liked the project, now this split is in
internet, i think this material will be on cd soon
Yes that’s for sure the metal
brotherhood is growing every minute and that’s a good sign that bands from
different part of the world are working together. By the way i was going
through your bands videos and saw that you guys are getting a good respond
there in South America .
Yes, we
have a lot of friends in different countries; our videos were filmed in Bolivia and Ecuador
So we will like to know that are you
guys getting support in an immense way or still their is an orthodox believe
that Metal as a pain to the ear?
Heavy
metal is for me the best kind of music
Yes indeed we would like to know

So any new updates of the gigs or
tour?
In March
we will made a tour in Paraguay
So can we expect fresh stuffs of
Insignia this year?
Yes we
are making songs for the second album i think this year we will enter to the
studio
Can you say some details about the
upcoming Albums?
I think
it will more heavy than the other album, but it will be a heavy metal album
