A short Talk with Pranaw from Chrematomania

Before we begin we would like to know how are you guys doing and how things are going back there in SIKKIM.

Hey, Thanks for giving us such a chance to introduce ourselves to the scene and its people ... we really appreciate and support your effort. Well Sikkim is a beautiful place, we’re doing great here, It’s an awesome place full with natural beauty and full of inspirations.

For sure it is, I often visit this state when i am on holidays. Haha keeping aside my personal stuff we will like to know what actually CHREMATOMANIA means.

Chrematomania actually means the mania or addiction of money... we're all centered around this false paper control. As we all know how much our life is dependent on this and what to extent a human being can reach to acquire wealth, from criminal frenzy, corruption to famine all because of money

Chrematomania is a 3 piece of Brutal Death metal band. Pranaw tell us how the journey of CREMATOMANIA begun?

Me and Parik bro both had to leave our previous bands back in Bangalore.. After coming here we started hanging out, sharing music and smoking weed haha, that’s how we bonded and later Bipal bro joined as bassist and so here we are playing what we love..

Can we know about the other two bands?

Pisakas and Necrophilia these were my previous bands

Coming to your track 'CYBERNETICS' what does it means and currently you are working on "False Consciousness" when is it going to release?

Cybernetics meaning can be clearly understood if someone takes time to read the lyrics haha. False Consciousness is the new original we're working on ... we'll record and release the track as soon as we're done.

Coming beyond Chrematomania how is the situation there in INDIA especially in SIKKIM as we all know that election is nearby?

Situation is the same as always, what happens in elections every time??? Same shit all over the country just different faces.

As far as i know Chrematomania hasn't played any gigs yet. Apart from Chrematomania are you guys involved in other projects as well?

No not yet but we might play a gig this July and no we're not engaged in any other projects .

So apart from music what are you guys doing current days?

Smoking weed, and doing our regular shit haha.

So can you tell us what are you guys listening nowadays?

We dig anything that’s sound good to the ears. Also digging lots of local bands and there are some kickass bands in and around.

Keep digging metal.. And support the local scene
