Interview with Alessio from VIOLENTOR a speed thrash metal band from Italy

VIOLENTOR are 4 piece Thrashers from Firenze-Lucca, Italy. Heavily influence by Old School Thrash acts, they are also the members of the Legendary thrash metal band HOBBS ANGEL OF DEATH from Australia. Currently they are working on for the tour of H A D to be started in 14 days. Recently we had a talk with Alessio regarding VIOLENTOR . Alessio before we begin we will like to know how the preparation is going on for the world tour with Hobbs Angel of Death. If I am not wrong, you guys are on tour on 1st week of June. Can you tell us something about the tour with Peter?

 We will be on tour with Hobbs Angel of Death from June to October 2014, we have around 15 gigs in Europe i.e in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Serbia and many more places also including USA, Canada and South America. This Is the second tour we will do with Peter Hobbs, the last was in Christmas in Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Germany and Italy. Now we are in the official Hobbs Angel of Death lineup, and will enter the studio for release the new album in that period of the tour. Three or Four members of Violentor play going to play with Hobbs.

We wish you and Peter a warm wishes for the world tour as well as to the entire H A D team for the world tour. Keeping aside the talk of Hobbs angel of death .We will like to know a bit more about VIOLENTOR from early 2012, how has been the journey?

With Violentor its cool, I formed the band few years ago with my best friends, united to the same passion for the old school metal and the first raw punk attitude.

Rot, the bass player has been playing since the start with me in the lineup, we changed a couple of members in the years and now we have a great lineup, good friends and a lethal dose of passion necessary for do a good work.

In these years we have released 2 studio album and stayed around for gigs.

VIOLENTOR how did you guys come with that name?

We need something Violent, thus we choose Violentor...:)

Personally I haven’t heard much of the Italian bands and I am a bit aware of the scene back their in Italy. Can you say us in brief about the scene back there?

The Italian scene is really active and good, we have a lot of good bands and a lot of concerts, the only problem is we don't have a good connection and a network outside, but this is our problem that occurs in times.

Recently in Feb VIOLENTOR had a tour with the Swedish act TURBOCHARGED tell us how was the tour?

NOOO!!! We played only a couple of gigs here in Italy as in support with them, I was around with Turbocharged because I did their tour managing for that tour.

I had gone through the videos that Ronnie published in his account seems like you guys had an awesome time on the road?

Yes,it was great and crazy at the same time, Turbocharged guys and me are great friends.

So Alessio can you tell us about your journey in the metal scene. We will like to know about your journey as well as that with VIOLENTOR?

Underground metal scene, is better :)

It's my passion and it's my work too, I can't live without music. Is not simple to be on top,We must do it with passion and spend a lot of time around your project,Be humble and know your own limits and be realistic.

Apart from VIOLENTOR and Hobbes you are also involved in ETRURIAN LEGION PROMOTION . How it like is involved in 2 bands as well as working in a promotion agency?

I'm on it 12-14 hours at days, sometimes more too! But Etrurian Legion is my work and Violentor and Hobbs Angel of Death is only for passion which is for relaxing myself.

So as far as my idea you guys are having a gig on 5th of april can you say us about the gig?

Is really great, it was a little fest with all friends' bands and friends' supporters. What can I say...everything was alcohol, metal and noise!

Talking about your album in 2012 probably in september you guys released Rot . Can you say us about the album. We can even see that you guys haven’t released your new tracks recently. Is it due to your tight schedule with Hobbs?

Yes we released Rot in the first months of 2012,The record is not that bad but it was composed really fast following with our pure instinct. But this is the Violentor nature, I like this album but I don't want give any judgments, only the supporters must do it! Hobbs Angel of Death is another project that we are involved in, we are really proud to be a part of the lineup; we are huge Hobbs fans from a long time.

So, apart from the gig that happened recently with Axecutor, any updates of future gigs and projects?

We have the last Violentor gig today (09-may) with Bulgarian brothers Axecutor, Sofisticator and Reactory. We will stop for a couple of months with Violentor gigs for starting with new Hobbs Angel of Death tour and the recording session of the new thrash metal legend album. We have started to work on new Violentor songs and finish it with some parts to compose it at the end of this year. 

So we are almost at the end any message to the bands I guess you have a way lot to say especially to the upcoming thrash metal band. I am pretty sure your experience will be a source of inspiration to many guys out here. Can you share some of your experience?

As I said everyone must be humble and do what is like without any compromises.
